Hollywood Park Casino
3883 W. Century Blvd.
Inglewood, CA 90303
800-888-4972
Here's something for the trivia buffs; The Hollywood Park Casino is the first casino in America to be located at a racetrack.
They have Texas Hold 'Em, Seven Card Stud or Pai Gow Poker. The casino card games are combined with live and simulcast thoroughbred wagering, and there's bingo. Hollywood Park Casino claims to have the largest charity bingo hall on the West coast. There's also a wide range of entertainment nightly and special events, including top name and local musical and performing acts, and Salsa dancing nites.

Spa Hotel & Casino
140 N Indian Canyon Drive
Palm Springs, CA 92262
760-323-5865
This is my favorite casino in the Palm Springs area, just across the street from one of my favorite Palm Springs niteclubs, the fantastic Zeldas Nightclub. The Spa Hotel & Casino has really become the  place. They also have top name acts performing there, like Gladys Knight, and Chicago.
The Aqua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians operates this casino.
There's plenty of video gaming machines, (this is where I've had luck, and also where I've spent a lot of money)!. They include; keno, poker, Spa 21 and Pan games. If you don't like to gamble, then try the casino's Aqua Bar & Grill, or any of their other food restaurants, including their world buffet, just like in Vegas.

Hustler Casino
1000 W. Redondo Beach Blvd.
Gardena, CA 90247
877-968-9800
World-famous pornography publisher and producer, and First Amendment crusader, Larry Flynt, has a new gig. Flynt and his attorney, Alan Isaacman, (remember the guy portrayed by actor Ed Norton in the film about Flynt) are now in the casino business. They’ve opened Hustler Casino in Gardena.
The place really is a class act, and with it's red color theme, chandeliers, and decor, looks a little like a classic Vegas casino of old.
The casino has one of the best sports bars in town, with a circular marble bar as the centerpiece. Big-screen TVs broadcast non- stop sports throughout the casino.
Hustler Casino offers the following; poker, Texas Hold ‘Em, seven-card stud, Pai Gow and Super Pan 9. Gaming is reportedly intense, so you might want to try out somewhere else first, the tables are for serious gamblers.

Commerce Casino
6131 Telegraph Road
Commerce, CA 90040
323-721-2100
Commerce Casino is one of the popular destinations for Los Angeles gamers. Just five minutes from downtown, Commerce offers all types of pan and poker games including Hold 'Em, Omaha, Pai Gow, Baccarat, all stud varieties and even "bustless" blackjack. The Player's Lounge offers live music and dancing nightly.
If you're hungry, they have five restaurants that will cater to practically any desire. In fact, there's even sushi. One nice touch is that you can dine while you play, right at the game table, put mind your table manners, and keep your sticky fingers off the cards!.

Casino Morongo

Another of the excellent casinos in the Palm Springs area, and another favorite of mine.
Casino Morongo is open 24 hours a day and offers plenty of ways for you to gamble. Card games include California Blackjack, Morongo 21, Morongo Aces, Seven-Card Stud, Texas Hold 'em, Omaha, Pan and the popular and noisy, Pai Gow. Video Slots and Million Dollar Megabingo, too.
There's also a food buffet area, but not as good as the Spa's food restaurants and buffets.
The showrooms also offer entertainment with big name acts, ranging from top name comedians and music acts.

Normandie Casino

Now, the big attraction at Normandie Casino is the "21st Century Blackjack" in which two changes have been made to the standard game: the game is played to 22 and there is no bust.
You can also try your hand at Mexican Poker, Super Nine, Pai Gow Poker, Seven Card Stud, Hold 'Em and more. There's also a banquet facility and a showroom for concerts featuring major entertainment stars and acts. The casino regularly features special gaming promotions and tournaments.
